Right now many Danish churches are busy preparing so called Christmas boxes which are given to families who otherwise couldn’t afford to celebrate a traditional Danish Christmas.
The boxes contain food and snacks for a Christmas dinner – and some of the boxes also come with gifts for the children.
🙏 PRAY for the churches which are preparing these boxes.
🙏 PRAY that they'll get money and food enough to make more boxes than ever before.
🙏 And PRAY for the families who receive the boxes that the Lord will bless and protect them and that they'll feel the box as a greeting from heaven.

Danish children and young people drink far too much and far too early - to such an extent that Danish young people hold the European record for drinking.
This has been the case for years, but public sentiment is turning in favor of a more restrictive alcohol legislation.
🙏 Please PRAY for protection over Danish young people.
🙏 PRAY for a cultural change in Danish society in relation to alcohol consumption.
🙏 PRAY that Danish young people will find other ways to be together than centered around alcohol.

School holiday is about to begin in Denmark. For 6 weeks children will be off from school and a lot of families are going on vacation.

10.000's of Danish children grow up in homes with drinking problem. These kids are eight times more likely to experience domestic violence than other kids, and their suicide rate a 100 percent bigger.

🙏 PRAY that God will draw these kids to Himself and reveal Himself to them as their heavenly father.

About 800 years ago - the year 1219 - King Valdemar of Denmark 🤴 was greatly troubled and challenged.
Legend tells that the Danish king in his troubles had a dream, where he saw a cloth descend from heaven. The next day he created Dannebrog (Danish Cloth), lifted it high and displayed it in front of his men and they were victoriously blessed.
Danes love their flag and it can be seen in almost every corner and neighbourhood of Denmark at times of celebration.
The WHITE innocent cross is surrounded with the RED life-giving blood 🩸🩸 - as the centre-point for all humans to gaze upon.
The day Jesus died on the cross ✝️, was the day, where hate, darkness, and evil was overcome by God's complete and unconditional love, light, and grace.
The day where broken relationships were fully restored.
The day where lies and distance was replaced with truth and friendship.

Sadly there is a great breakdown in family structure in Denmark. And that comes with severe costs for persons and for society in general.
But with God all things are possible - therefore:
- Please PRAY for the families in Denmark – pray for harmony, peace, and a lot of joy.
- PRAY that couples will be determined to overcome difficulties and stay together.
- PRAY especially for children; a lot of Danish children are struggling with psychiatric issues as stress, anxiety and OCD – perhaps the break down in family structures is one of the main causes of that.
